📘 Training Young Leaders on Public Policy Paper Writing and Advocacy – Rural Space
🌱 In a sustainable step to strengthen the role of rural youth in democracy and political life, the Center for Change Mediators for Sustainable Development, in partnership with Sawt Ajloun Radio and in collaboration with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation (Germany), has launched the second-year agenda of the “Rural Space Youth Project.”
This year’s activities began with a specialized training program targeting 20 young men and women from Ajloun’s rural areas, focusing on:
🗣️ Public policy expert Mohammad Bani Mustafa explained that the training covered the definition and levels of public policy, as well as practical methods for drafting and analyzing policy papers. The sessions also explored local challenges in education and employment and proposed actionable solutions.
📌 Project Director Ahmad Rababah emphasized that the initiative aims to enhance rural youth participation in policymaking at both the national and local levels. Through “Rural Space,” participants are equipped to lead political dialogues, organize workshops with stakeholders, and engage directly with members of parliament to ensure their issues—especially in education and employment—are reflected in public policy.
This project reaffirms the Center’s commitment to empowering rural youth and opening pathways for them to contribute meaningfully to public life and policy development.
🗓️ The training runs for four days, from Monday, May 12 to Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the Center’s headquarters in Ajloun.
