📢 Joint statement on supporting agricultural and rural projects in Jordan

Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development, the Rural Youth Political Safe Space, and the Radio Sawt Ajloun Station issued a joint statement welcoming the agreement signed between the Ministry of Labor and the Agricultural Lending Corporation, which aims to provide interest-free loans of up to 15,000 Jordanian dinars to support agricultural and rural projects and empower job seekers and young male and female entrepreneurs in various governorates of the Kingdom.

The statement emphasized the importance of directing funding towards less fortunate governorates such as Ajloun Governorate, and linking loans to specialized training and qualification programs to ensure the sustainability of projects and achieve a tangible economic and social impact, while strengthening partnership with youth and civil society, and supporting initiatives that promote integration between agriculture and ecotourism.
