As part of the “Reef Youth Political Space” project’s efforts to empower youth in rural communities and enhance their presence in the national political scene, a special visit was organized to the Royal Hashemite Court, led by young woman Nevin Rabadi. A group of leaders from the Reef Youth Political Space participated, embodying their sense of belonging and loyalty to the wise Hashemite leadership through their presence, as well as their commitment to continuing to serve their rural communities and promote sustainable development.

During the visit, youth leaders gave a comprehensive presentation on the project’s objectives, outcomes, and impact in enhancing political awareness among rural youth. They also reviewed the most important dialogues and interactive sessions conducted via digital media during the year, which addressed issues of education, employment, entrepreneurship, digital media, and political participation.

Participants discussed with His Excellency the Chief of the Royal Court, Mr. Yousef Al-Issawi, ways to enhance communication between youth and state institutions. They emphasized the need for sustainable channels that enable youth to communicate their voices and suggestions to decision-makers, which would positively impact the development of public policies based on the needs of rural communities.

Young woman Maram Tawalbeh expressed the importance of enhancing the political participation of rural youth by involving them in local committees and municipal councils. Presenter Taima Al-Momani emphasized the need to activate community digital media as an official platform to convey youth voices and suggestions.
Razan Al-Kharfan and Hiba Allah Al-Qurashi recommended expanding the scope of the “Rural Youth Political Space” project to include new governorates, with the aim of reaching the largest possible number of rural youth.
Lian Al-Sayouf and Iman Al-Qurashi also emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between state institutions and civil society to support youth initiatives.
Abdulrahman Al-Samadi and Maryam Al-Yassin called for launching specialized training programs in the fields of political leadership, media, and community innovation.
Hilal Al-Rabdi emphasized the importance of including rural youth priorities in national development plans, particularly in the areas of education, employment, and sustainable agriculture.

The meeting concluded with a recommendation to establish an official follow-up mechanism from the Royal Court to monitor the implementation of youth recommendations and proposals, ensuring the sustainability of the project’s impact and the development of its future outcomes.
