Dialogue Sessions in Ajloun to Discuss a Policy Paper on Amending the Local Administration Law and Empowering Women
Ajloun – Safaraa Al-Reef Company for Training and Sustainable Development, in partnership with the Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development and in collaboration with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, will hold three specialized dialogue sessions under the “Rural Women Forum.” These sessions will discuss a policy paper titled: “Towards Inclusive Local Governance – Amending Local Administration Law No. 22 of 2021, Related to Women’s Empowerment.”
These sessions aim to explore the key challenges and opportunities related to enhancing women’s participation in political life and decision-making positions at the local level. They will also work on formulating practical recommendations that contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable local governance system, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and Jordan’s vision for political modernization.

The sessions will be held over three days, from Monday to Wednesday, August 18–20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the hall of the Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development in Ajloun Governorate.
