From the countryside, the story begins… and its youth are the makers of change.
From the countryside, the story begins… and its youth are shaping the change.
As a sustainable step to strengthen the role of rural youth in democracy and political life, the Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development—partnering with Ajloun Voice Radio and in cooperation with the German Rosa Luxemburg Foundation—announces the launch of the second-year agenda for the Rural Youth Space initiative
We are launching this year’s activities with a specialized training on writing public policy papers, effective communication skills, and advocacy with parliamentary committees—focusing specifically on labor and education.
The training will continue over four days during the second week of the current month, from Monday, May 12 to Thursday, May 15, 2025, at the hall of the Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development.
This activity is part of the “Rural Space” project— a safe political youth platform launched in 2024 out of our deep belief that rural youth are active partners in decision-making and shaping public policies at both the national and local levels. Their voices deserve to be heard in every forum and arena, as future leaders. The platform includes a group of young, active leaders from the rural areas of Ajloun Governorate.
The Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development, through the “Rural Space: A Safe Political Youth Platform,” is committed to supporting and providing all necessary resources to empower youth in rural communities—enabling and opening doors for their active participation in shaping public policy and building a more just and inclusive future. From the countryside we begin, and through youth, we create change.
