Ajloun – As part of efforts to enhance the political and civic participation of youth in rural areas, the Intermediaries Change Center for Sustainable Development, in partnership with Sawt Ajloun Community Radio and in cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation – Germany, is organizing an interactive political dialogue on “National Labor and Education Policies and Local Priorities in Rural Communities” on Saturday, September 27, 2025.
The dialogue will be attended by:
- Her Excellency Dr. Haifa Al-Najjar, Member of the Jordanian Senate and Former Minister of Culture of Jordan.
- Her Excellency Prof. Dr. Wafaa Al-Khudra, University Professor, Academic Activist, and Expert in Higher Education Reform.
- Her Excellency Ms. Nermin Murad, Public Policy and Institutional Reform Expert.
- The team of young leaders in the “Safe Political Youth Space – Rief” project.
The political dialogue aims to provide a sustainable platform for discussion between youth, policymakers, experts, and academics. It empowers young leaders in rural areas to present their recommendations based on specialized policy papers in the labor and education sectors, which they have prepared after assessing the needs of rural communities and identifying feasible reforms.
The dialogue will address national and local priorities related to labor and education, contributing to the development of practical visions that promote equity in the distribution of opportunities and development services. It also supports national efforts to improve the quality of education and employment opportunities for youth in rural areas.
