The role of the vocational training institute in preparing rural youth for the labor market and entrepreneurship
Ajloun Community Radio will host a discussion with the Director of the Northern Region Vocational Training Directorate, Eng. Sufian Al-Qudah, to discuss vocational training and the institute’s future plans to support young men and women, particularly in rural communities, in accordance with the recommendations and requirements prepared by youth leaders in the policy papers on safe political spaces for rural youth.

The episode focuses on the following themes:
The various training programs offered by the institute, and how they are developed to meet the requirements of the local labor market, to provide young people with the practical and technical skills necessary to enhance their chances of obtaining sustainable jobs.
• Increasing the capacity of training programs to enable a larger number of young people to benefit and gain practical experience that qualifies them to integrate into the labor market.
Integrating vocational training with entrepreneurship and support for small businesses, with the aim of creating new economic opportunities for young people and enhancing their economic independence.
• The role of partnerships with government agencies, the private sector, and civil society organizations in developing and ensuring the sustainability of training programs.
• To raise awareness of the importance of vocational training as a strategic tool to support local development, enhance youth skills, and increase their participation in the economic and social process, based on national priorities and strategies and the visions and recommendations of the youth leaders who are members of the Rural Youth Space.

It is worth noting that the “Rural Space” project is implemented by the Center for Change Agents for Sustainable Development in partnership with Ajloun Community Radio and in cooperation with the German Rosa Luxemburg Foundation. It aims to provide a sustainable political space for youth to enhance their political and civic participation in rural areas.
