“Dialogue Sessions in Ajloun to Discuss a Policy Paper on Amending the Local Administration Law and Women’s Empowerment.”
Ajloun – Rural Ambassadors for Training and Sustainable Development, in partnership with the Center for Change Mediators for Sustainable Development and in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, will hold three specialized dialogue sessions as part of the “Rural Women’s Forum” to discuss a policy paper entitled: “Towards Inclusive Local Governance – Amending Local Administration Law No. 22 of 2021, with a Focus on Women’s Empowerment.”
These sessions aim to explore the key challenges and opportunities related to enhancing women’s participation in political life and decision-making positions at the local level. They will also work on formulating practical recommendations that contribute to building a more inclusive and equitable local governance system, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and Jordan’s vision for political modernization.

The sessions will be held over three days, from Monday to Wednesday, August 18–20, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, at the hall of the Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development in Ajloun Governorate.
