In light of the growing challenges related to climate change and energy security, the Change Mediators Center for Sustainable Development believes that building a stable and just future in the Mediterranean region requires a collective response and effective partnerships among all stakeholders—governments, the private sector, civil society organizations, and individuals. From this perspective, the center supports efforts to transition toward a low-carbon and more sustainable development model that promotes climate justice and reduces the gap between the Global North and South.
The center contributes to the implementation of programs and initiatives aimed at increasing community awareness of climate change and empowering young people to develop innovative solutions in the fields of renewable energy, energy efficiency, smart agriculture, and water. It also works to strengthen environmental governance by supporting community participation in shaping climate policies and assessing the environmental impact of local projects.
The center works to strengthen regional cooperation to address climate challenges by activating partnerships and multilateral collaboration across the region.
It contributes to organizing dialogue platforms that enhance cooperation between countries and local communities, and expand local and regional partnerships to achieve sustainable development.
The center also implements projects in the fields of energy and climate change that aim to create direct impact on communities and advance sustainable development.
