The station promotes the concepts of dialogue, youth participation in public affairs, decision-making mechanisms, good governance, and accountability, while opening communication channels between citizens and decision-makers.
“Sawt Ajloun Podcast” is a community podcast reflecting the concerns and aspirations of the people of Ajloun Governorate, especially youth, women, and marginalized groups, through interactive dialogue episodes focusing on social, economic, political, cultural, and environmental issues.
The podcast aims to create a safe conversational space that promotes human rights, good governance, and community participation, while helping to open communication channels between citizens and decision-makers.
By hosting experts, activists, and sharing stories from local realities, “Sawt Ajloun” seeks to build critical awareness, spread a culture of accountability, and support efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in rural and marginalized communities.
This space is dedicated to producing films and digital content that highlight gender issues in rural areas. It aims to empower rural youth to express themselves and address topics related to social justice, gender equality, and women’s participation in the economic and political life of rural communities.
The space offers opportunities for learning and training in filmmaking and digital media techniques, helping to raise awareness of social issues and promote positive change through media.
A space dedicated to supporting and developing entrepreneurs and innovators working to provide sustainable environmental solutions in rural areas. This incubator fosters an environment that encourages innovation and creativity in fields such as renewable energy, waste management, sustainable agriculture, and environmental conservation technologies.
Through the provision of technical support, consulting, and training in entrepreneurial skills, the Green Business Incubator empowers rural youth to launch their own projects and achieve their environmental goals.
In addition, the incubator offers a network of connections with environmental experts, funding institutions, and international organizations, helping to secure funding opportunities and scale up emerging projects.
The incubator aims to equip rural communities with the tools and skills needed to achieve sustainable development through projects that improve environmental conditions and create new job opportunities—ultimately enhancing the quality of life in rural areas and fostering a balance between economic development and environmental protection.
In light of the economic and social challenges facing youth in local communities, and stemming from the vision of the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development to empower individuals and build their capacities, the Entrepreneurship Space was launched as one of the pioneering initiatives aimed at supporting and empowering youth, women, and entrepreneurs at various stages of their projects.
This space serves as an incubating platform for ideas and emerging projects, providing a stimulating environment for learning, innovation, collaboration, and knowledge exchange among ambitious youth. It offers participants access to educational resources, specialized training, technical and administrative consultations, and local and regional support networks that help transform ideas into sustainable projects with social and economic impact.
The significance of the Entrepreneurship Space lies in promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and self-employment, and in nurturing creative energies—especially in marginalized areas—in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those related to quality education, decent work, and reducing inequalities.
The “Green Recycling Garden” is a safe and open space for learning and acquiring practical skills in the fields of recycling and environmental sustainability, specifically designed for residents of rural areas. This initiative aims to raise environmental awareness among youth and women in the countryside, promote a culture of natural resource conservation, and reduce waste through hands-on learning and community engagement.
The garden offers specialized training workshops on how to recycle household and plastic materials, transform waste into usable products, as well as courses in sustainable agriculture, eco-garden design, and organic fertilizer production. It also provides participants with the opportunity to develop innovative, eco-friendly projects that serve their communities and offer local solutions to environmental challenges.
Through the “Green Recycling Garden”, the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development aims to create an aware and proactive generation capable of engaging positively with environmental issues and contributing effectively to building a cleaner, fairer, and more sustainable future in rural Jordan.
Cultural and Arts Creativity Space
This is one of the vital spaces at the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development, aiming to empower youth, women, and emerging artists to express themselves through various art forms such as theater, music, painting, photography, and creative writing. The space serves as an open platform to nurture talents, develop skills, promote freedom of expression, and connect culture with community development.
The space implements a variety of programs and events, including art workshops, cultural evenings, exhibitions, community festivals, as well as awareness-raising artistic performances and short films addressing social and environmental issues. It also provides a safe environment for dialogue and cultural exchange among different segments of society, contributing to preserving local cultural heritage with a contemporary spirit.
This space has made a tangible impact in enhancing cultural and community participation and has successfully highlighted young talents on both local and national levels. It has also helped integrate art as a tool for sustainable development and community peacebuilding through fruitful partnerships with cultural, educational, and media institutions within and beyond Ajloun Governorate.
Among the most prominent artistic activities organized by the Cultural and Arts Creativity Space at the Intermediaries of Change Center is the musical concert of Maestro Tarek Al-Naser held at Ajloun Castle on the occasion of the International Music Day, which was a unique artistic experience in the heart of one of the governorate’s most important historical landmarks. The space also organized a distinctive musical event titled “Voices That Unite Us… Mediterranean Day – Third Edition,” celebrating Mediterranean Day. This event brought together artists and youth from diverse cultural backgrounds in a spirit of shared creativity and cultural dialogue. These events embody the center’s vision of employing arts as a bridge for encounter and dialogue, while enhancing cultural identity and community belonging.
The Information Technology Space at the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development is a knowledge-driven and innovative environment dedicated to enhancing digital capacities across various community groups, especially youth and women in rural and marginalized areas. This space aims to empower local communities to engage with the digital revolution, develop technology skills, bridge the digital divide, increase access to job markets, and encourage tech entrepreneurship.
The space offers a diverse range of training programs and practical workshops in fields such as programming, web design, digital content management, cybersecurity, digital marketing, and artificial intelligence. It also provides hands-on learning opportunities through real digital projects and mentorship from experts and specialists, helping participants build employable skills and develop tech solutions tailored to their community needs.
The space strives to create an inclusive digital community based on innovation and continuous learning, encouraging critical thinking and digital collaboration. It provides a participatory environment that enables participants to transform their ideas into effective digital initiatives. The Modern Agricultural Technologies Space is one of the specialized spaces at the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development, aimed at promoting sustainable and smart agricultural practices in rural communities, especially in light of climate change and the economic pressures faced by farmers. This space seeks to transfer knowledge and skills related to modern agriculture to farmers, youth, and women by providing an educational and experimental environment that enhances productivity and reduces the depletion of natural resources.
The space offers advanced training programs in areas such as hydroponics, vertical farming, use of smart drip irrigation systems, agricultural waste recycling, and crop management using remote sensing and artificial intelligence technologies. It also supports small community agricultural initiatives and provides participants with practical learning opportunities to implement sustainable agricultural models applicable in their local environments.

The “My Right to Learn” campaign aims to create an inclusive school environment for girls with physical disabilities from various nationalities in Ajloun Governorate. It seeks to provide equal and inclusive educational opportunities for both refugee and Jordanian girls alike. The campaign strives to ensure the right to education for all girls, especially those most at risk of exclusion, particularly girls with physical disabilities in schools.
