I am Abdulrahman Al-Samadi, a student specializing in information security and networking from rural Ajloun. My story is not just an experience, but a journey of personal and professional growth that transformed my path and deepened my understanding of political participation and its tools.

A year ago, I joined the Safe Political Youth Space in Rural Areas—a life-changing opportunity. I had no idea back then that this step would open doors to new political knowledge and skills that would become a launching pad for my active civic engagement.

Through the Safe Political Youth Space, I became part of a vibrant platform enabling rural youth to gain skills and nurture their democratic awareness. The goal was clear: to strengthen rural youth’s role in decision-making by equipping them with the tools needed to be effective participants in political and social processes.

The training I received in this project was truly a treasure—it introduced me to fresh concepts about political involvement and how to interact with political parties and systems. At first, I was worried about the seemingly vast gap between us and decision-makers. But with every dialogue session and party discussion, that challenge grew smaller.

What sets the Rural Youth Space apart is that it’s not just a training program—it’s a sustainable and safe platform that politically empowers rural youth and strengthens their participation in decision-making. It allows us, as rural youth, to be part of political transformation and contribute meaningfully to the social change our communities aspire to.

It offers a safe space to exchange ideas and visions, fosters youth engagement in politics, and cultivates a culture of dialogue and negotiation, which opens fair and equal opportunities for the new rural generation.
