🌿 A Success Story: Eman Saqr Ahmad – “Bayt Al-Oliveira”… Natural Beauty and Economic Independence from the Heart of Irbid

🌿 From Irbid Governorate, where nature thrives in every detail, Eman Saqr Ahmad began her entrepreneurial journey from a personal passion for plants—transforming that passion into a fully-fledged business called “Bayt Al-Oliveira for Natural Soap”. Her initiative blends innovation, natural heritage, and sustainability.

 

🌿 The idea was born from her love of growing aloe vera and cacti, and her deep knowledge of their cosmetic and healing benefits. Over time, this vision evolved into a fully developed project for producing natural products—including soaps, oils, masks, and nourishing shampoos—crafted with raw natural ingredients such as goat and camel milk and carefully extracted plant oils

🌱 At the beginning of her journey, Eman faced challenges in funding, registration, and production, but she never gave up. The turning point came when she joined the project “Towards Enhancing Women’s Economic Participation in Jordan”, implemented by the Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development (under a service contract), in partnership with Tamkeen Legal Aid and the EuroMed Feminist Initiative, and supported by the European Union.

 

🌱 Through this project, Eman received a development grant and embarked on a year-long journey of learning and empowerment, which included:

• 📊 Training in Cost Calculation and Resource Management, which helped her plan production and achieve financial sustainability.
  
   
• 🎨 She learned visual identity design and brand building, which enabled her to develop attractive packaging and a distinctive identity that reflects the quality of “Bayt Al-Oliveira” products.
  
   
• 📢 Training in Digital Marketing and Product Storytelling, which equipped her with the tools needed to effectively connect with the local market.
  
   
• 📈 Acquiring skills in business model development, legal compliance, and risk management—skills that strengthened the project’s ability to grow steadily in a competitive environment.
  
   
• 🤝 Participation in mentorship and networking sessions opened doors for her to new partnerships and potential markets.
  
   

🌿 Today, “Bayt Al-Oliveira” has become an inspiring women-led success story—not only in the field of entrepreneurship, but also in empowering women to access fair economic opportunities and achieve financial independence.
