Job Title: Project Coordinator – Part-Time

The Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development announces its intention to contract a part-time Project Coordinator to work within the project “Rural Women More Resilient in Poverty Pockets,” implemented in Jerash Governorate. This project is supported and funded by Expertise France as part of the Social Protection Sector Support Project in Jordan, funded by the European Union. The project aims to support the replacement of institutional care and enhance social cohesion.

The project seeks to economically empower women by supporting entrepreneurship and establishing developmental projects, thereby contributing to improving the living standards of the targeted communities. Additionally, it aims to enhance dialogue with public policy makers to improve local policies that support women and address gender priorities in rural areas.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
2. At least two years of practical experience in project management, field coordination, and organizing specialized meetings related to local development.
   
   
3. Ability to conduct field follow-up and supervise the implementation and monitoring of daily project activities.
4. Teamwork spirit and the ability to implement strategic intervention plans.
5. Skills in advocacy, effective communication, team management, and liaising with decision-makers.
6. Ability in institutional networking and building alliances and coalitions.
7. Good understanding of gender issues in rural communities, especially related to women’s economic empowerment.
8. Proficiency in computer software.
9. Ability to prepare and write reports in both Arabic and English.
10. The applicant must be a resident of Ajloun Governorate.
