Members of the Rural Youth Political Safe Space participated in the National Conference on Combating Violence Against Women and Girls, organized by the Jordanian Women’s Solidarity Institute Association within the project “United in Confronting Violence Against Women and Girls During and After the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic in Jordan”, funded by UN Women Jordan, with the participation of national institutions, government bodies, local associations and youth initiatives.
Their participation in this conference reflects the commitment of the Rif Youth Political Safe Space to supporting civil society efforts to promote the rights of women and girls, raise awareness about violence, and empower young men and women socially and politically. Members of the space also emphasized the vital role of youth in societal change and their active contribution to building a safe, violence-free society that fosters justice and gender equality.
Through this participation, the Center for Change Agents for Sustainable Development continues its role as an active center in supporting youth and community initiatives, encouraging young men and women to engage in important national issues, and finding practical solutions that contribute to preventing violence and empowering women and girls in various fields.
