“As part of the activities of the Rural Youth Political Space, young leaders held a coordination meeting dedicated to discussing mechanisms for planning and organizing political dialogues with the committees of the Jordanian House of Representatives, particularly the Labor, Social Development, and Population Committee.”

“During the meeting, public policy expert Mohammad Bani Mustafa emphasized that engaging youth in such dialogues represents a fundamental step toward strengthening their role in advancing political participation and highlighting their presence as active partners in shaping national directions and policies. He added that such initiatives create opportunities for youth to serve as a bridge between society and decision-makers, contributing to addressing the most pressing issues, particularly in social domains.”

“Project coordinator Ahmad Rababah stated that this meeting marks a key milestone in the initiative’s trajectory, highlighting that the primary goal is to empower youth in rural areas to play an active role in the national dialogue by putting forward practical recommendations that stem from their lived realities and the specific needs of their communities.”

“Rababah added that the initiative is not limited to raising youth awareness of their political role, but also aims to establish a permanent space for engagement with legislative institutions—ensuring the development of more inclusive and equitable policies that are capable of addressing current developmental and social challenges.”
