Green Entrepreneurship Center | 2022-2025

The Green Entrepreneurship Center is a business incubator that aims to support and develop entrepreneurs and innovators who provide sustainable environmental solutions in rural areas. The center encourages innovation in renewable energy, waste management, sustainable agriculture, and environmental protection technologies. By providing technical support, consulting, and training on entrepreneurship skills, the center provides rural youth with the opportunity to launch their projects and achieve their environmental goals. It connects them to a network of environmental experts, financial institutions, and international organizations to enhance and expand funding opportunities. The Change Brokers Center for Sustainable Development has served as the official incubator, incubating nine green entrepreneurial projects and supporting local entrepreneurs in capacity building, achieving sustainable development, and creating new job opportunities with a financial support of 5,000 Jordanian dinars per project, thus promoting a balance between economic development and environmental protection in rural communities.

Objectives:

• Supporting entrepreneurs and startups in building sustainable projects.
• Providing them with the skills and knowledge necessary for economic independence.
• Promote entrepreneurial awareness and resilience.

Activities:

• Organizing workshops on financial sustainability, crisis management, and business strategies.
• Incubation and funding of 5 projects (worth 5,000 euros per project).
• Providing mentorship and capacity building to startups in key sectors.

Results:

• Five startups were successfully incubated and funded.
• Improving entrepreneurship skills among youth and local entrepreneurs.
• Enhance the ability to develop sustainable businesses.
