“The ‘Equal in the Countryside’ Program”
ملخص المشروع:
“The project aims to adopt the issues of women, young women, and adolescent girls related to improving political, social, and economic rights, as well as monitoring and reporting on gender-based violence and gender gaps in rights and freedoms, in alignment with the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Sustainable Development Goal 5, and the CEDAW Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination and Violence.”
“The program operates within the methodology of ‘Participation and Equality for All’ by creating a space for dialogue, exchange of opinions, and the narration and discussion of stories of women, young women, and adolescent girls who are working to rescue their communities from the tragedies of discrimination, exclusion, deprivation, and inequality amid the fragile economic, social, and political conditions in Jordan. We agree that there is a need to provide an urgent response that adopts the voices of those who have none, to create a state of solidarity and movement toward change, and to place the priorities of women, young women, and adolescent girls at the forefront of community concerns and the agendas of policymakers at both the local and national levels.”
