📊 Administrative Report and Project Summary of the Change Makers Center for 2022
🌟 The year 2022 marked a significant milestone in the journey of the Change Makers Center for Sustainable Development, as the center succeeded in expanding its scope of work and diversifying its programs and initiatives to address key issues at the heart of local community needs in Ajloun Governorate and surrounding areas—particularly in poverty pockets and marginalized rural communities.
A number of developmental and rights-based projects were implemented, grounded in the principles of social justice, equality, inclusivity, and sustainable empowerment, guided by the center’s vision of achieving positive change through community partnership and proactive response to evolving challenges
🌍 The center’s projects this year focused on multiple key areas, including:
- Political and economic empowerment of women and youth
- Support for inclusive and equitable education
- Environmental protection and promotion of sustainable development
- Support for persons with disabilities
- Promotion of eco-tourism and rural tourism as a pathway to economic recovery post-COVID-19
These initiatives were distinguished by the integration of modern technology tools, the use of community media, and a rights-based approach in planning, implementation, and evaluation.
📘 This report aims to document the achievements made during 2022, review the challenges faced by the center, and highlight the lessons learned that will shape future work strategies.
It is hoped that this collective effort will serve as an inspiring model for organizations working in sustainable development, and as a driving force to strengthen both community and institutional partnerships in a way that serves the present and future of people in Jordan.
