Digital Access Report – Mutasawea Program (She Leads) 📊 💻🌍
In light of the rapid digital transformations taking place globally, equitable and fair access to digital resources and platforms has become a fundamental right and a central demand for achieving social justice and gender equality. This right holds particular importance in rural and marginalized communities, where women and girls face multiple digital gaps related to infrastructure, training, empowerment, and representation.
Accordingly, the publication of the Digital Access Report comes as part of the activities of the “Mutasawea” program, implemented with the support of the “She Leads” initiative in partnership with Plan International and funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The report sheds light on the digital realities of women and young women in Jordan—especially in rural areas and poverty pockets—and analyzes the challenges that hinder their full participation in the digital sphere, whether in terms of access, content creation, or influence.
📢 We call on all relevant stakeholders—decision-makers, civil society organizations, media outlets, and educational institutions—to review the findings of the report, adopt its recommendations in their plans and strategies, and work together to build a fair digital environment that enables women and young women to lead, innovate, and shape the future. 💡🌟
