The Ajloun Women’s Association organized a dialogue session on gender-based violence (GBV).
On Tuesday, June 3, the Ajloun Women’s Association held an awareness dialogue session at the Center for Change Mediators, as part of the “Kunafa & Story” initiative, which aims to promote community dialogue and develop tangible solutions to social issues.
The session addressed gender-based violence (GBV) and its psychological and social impacts, analyzing its underlying causes and showcasing real-life experiences of women. Participants also discussed possible solutions to reduce the phenomenon.
The meeting witnessed positive engagement from attendees, who explored practical strategies to strengthen community solidarity and build robust support networks for women.
The session targeted women from the Rural Women’s Forum, providing a safe space for dialogue and idea exchange. It contributed to women’s empowerment by offering valuable information on how to address violence and support one another.
The Ajloun Women’s Association emphasized the importance of continuing such initiatives, recognizing their vital role in raising community awareness and enhancing women’s participation in developing practical solutions to the challenges they face.
