The Ajloun Women’s Association, in collaboration with the “Kunafa & Story” initiative, held a dialogue session on Monday, June 2 at the Center for Change Mediators, aiming to promote community dialogue on the issue of gender-based violence (GBV). The session witnessed broad participation from youth of all genders.
The session focused on providing participants with foundational knowledge about gender-based violence (GBV), analyzing its root causes and negative impacts on individuals and society. It also highlighted youth-led initiatives that contribute to reducing this phenomenon and promoting a culture of respect and equality.
The meeting also featured in-depth discussions and idea exchange, providing attendees with the opportunity to ask questions and engage in a safe and inclusive environment. The goal was to build the capacities of youth, enabling them to play an active role in addressing this issue and supporting broader efforts toward community development.
