The Center for Change Agents participates in the training “Digital Harm in the Context of Women, Youth, Peace and Security” within the Cohesion 2 project
Within the framework of the Civil Society Organizations Forum alliance led by the National Committee for Women’s Affairs, the Center for Change Agents for Sustainable Development participated in a specialized training entitled “Digital Harm in the Context of Women, Youth, Peace and Security”, in line with the national priorities of Resolutions 1325 and 2250.
This training comes as part of the Tamasuk 2 project implemented by the ARK organization, with the aim of raising awareness of the dangers of digital harm, combating hate speech, and building a safer and fairer digital space.
The center was represented by Media, Communication and Programs Assistant Lana Al-Momani, who stressed that digital harm is constantly increasing as a result of the spread of misinformation and hate speech across digital platforms, emphasizing the importance of concerted community efforts to address these phenomena.
She added that the center, along with the Voice of Ajloun radio station which operates under its umbrella, supports these issues by raising awareness, highlighting the risks of digital harm, and promoting a culture of safe and responsible use of the digital space.
