The safe political youth space in the countryside launches its new year’s activities and conducts interviews to select young leaders

The Rif Youth Political Safe Space launched its activities for the current year, as part of its ongoing efforts to empower young men and women and promote their informed and safe political participation. This launch included a series of interviews with candidates who had registered and expressed their desire to join the space.

These interviews were part of the first stage of the selection process, which aimed to assess the applicants’ motivations, their level of awareness of public issues, and their commitment to the values ​​of dialogue, pluralism, and acceptance of the other’s opinion, in line with the vision and mission of Reef Space to provide a safe and constructive youth political environment.

In this context, the project coordinator, Ahmed Abdul Qader Al-Rababa’a, confirmed that the Reef Space seeks to build the capacities of young people in the areas of political dialogue, advocacy and lobbying, and civic participation, through the implementation of specialized training programs, interactive discussion sessions, in addition to open meetings that bring together young people with stakeholders, decision-makers, and specialists in public and political affairs.

In this context, the project coordinator, Ahmed Abdul Qader Al-Rababa’a, confirmed that the Reef Space seeks to build the capacities of young people in the areas of political dialogue, advocacy and lobbying, and civic participation, through the implementation of specialized training programs, interactive discussion sessions, in addition to open meetings that bring together young people with stakeholders, decision-makers, and specialists in public and political affairs.

These efforts come within the framework of supporting political reform paths, enhancing the role of youth as active partners in development and shaping the future, and achieving social justice within a framework that is consistent with national priorities for political and economic modernization and contributes to promoting equality and social justice.

It is worth mentioning that the Safe Youth Political Rural Space project is being implemented by the Center for Change Agents for Sustainable Development, in partnership with the Ajloun Community Radio Station, and in cooperation with the German Rosa Luxemburg Foundation.
