The Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development, in partnership with Ajloun Voice Community Radio, and in cooperation with the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and members of the Safe Youth Political Space, is implementing a youth dialogue meeting that brings together members of the Space with the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Human Rights. The meeting aims to discuss ways of adopting the recommendations included in the two policy papers related to the education and labor sectors, and to explore mechanisms for their implementation and enhancing their impact on developing policies and practices in line with the principles of human rights, social justice, and equal opportunity.<\/p>\n\n

This meeting comes within the framework of strengthening active youth participation and opening sustainable channels of dialogue between young people, decision-makers, and relevant stakeholders, contributing to amplifying youth voices and their proposals on national priority issues.<\/p>\n\n

Session topics:<\/p>\n\n

First axis: Mechanisms for achieving social justice and equal opportunities for women and youth in the rural communities of Ajloun.<\/p>\n\n

Second axis: The reality of the \u201cdecent work\u201d right and the requirements for developing infrastructure to provide a safe and fair working environment.<\/p>\n\n

Third axis: Strengthening the \u201cright to quality education\u201d and developing its infrastructure to ensure equitable access and alignment with labor market needs.<\/p>\n\n

Fourth axis: The extent to which government supporting programs and services (such as transportation and childcare facilities) are responsive and provided to facilitate access to the labor market.<\/p>\n\n

Fifth axis: Mechanisms for building institutional and sustainable dialogue channels between the local community and decision-makers to adopt and implement the recommendations included in Jordan\u2019s report related to the Universal Periodic Review of human rights and the Voluntary National Review on the Sustainable Development Goals in Jordan.<\/p>\n\n
