She is a bachelor\u2019s student majoring in Special Education and has obtained the American Board certification in the same field, reflecting her deep commitment to developing her academic and professional skills to serve the most vulnerable groups.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;However, Niveen\u2019s achievements are not limited to the academic field; she is an outstanding youth activist and is considered one of the young leaders who have made a real difference in her community through her leadership role in the project &#8216;Voices for Democracy Toward Fair Civic Participation for Rural Youth.&#8217; This project is implemented in collaboration between the Intermediaries for Change Center and Sawt Ajloun Community Radio. It aims to promote civic participation and empower rural youth to actively engage in local decision-making, opening direct channels of dialogue with municipal councils.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;\ud83d\udde3\ufe0f From Partnership to Action: Opening Channels of Communication Between Municipal Councils and Citizens&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Through this project, Niveen was part of the youth leadership team that worked on building bridges of trust between the municipal councils of Ajloun and Al-Junaid and the citizens in rural areas. The project included a series of dialogue sessions held in town halls, where Niveen was responsible for collecting suggestions and complaints from all segments of society\u2014including shop owners, street vendors, youth, women, men, and persons with disabilities. These inputs were professionally compiled and formulated, then submitted to the mayors with close follow-up to ensure their practical implementation.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;\ud83d\udcca Enhancing Youth Participation in the Local Decision-Making Process&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Through the project &#8216;Voices for Democracy Toward Fair Civic Participation for Rural Youth,&#8217; active participation of rural youth in the decision-making process was strengthened. Live broadcasts of municipal council sessions via Sawt Ajloun Community Radio, along with a complaint box and opinion polls, were key tools used by the project to measure citizen satisfaction and enhance transparency and accountability.&#8221;<br\/><br\/><\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Niveen and her team were able to initiate constructive discussions on important community issues such as sanitation services, road opening and paving, street lighting, and sustainable development. They also focused on local investment and activating governance to ensure the improvement of the quality of services provided to citizens.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;\ud83c\udf31 The Role of the Intermediaries for Change Center and Sawt Ajloun Community Radio in Capacity Building and Dialogue Development&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;The project &#8216;Voices for Democracy Toward Fair Civic Participation for Rural Youth,&#8217; implemented in partnership between the Intermediaries for Change Center and Sawt Ajloun Community Radio, played a key role in providing a safe space for learning and building youth capacities in political participation. This project offered a platform that helped Niveen and her team understand the mechanisms of political work and actively engage in the democratic process. Through this initiative, youth were empowered to interact with decision-makers, contributing to the promotion of democratic culture in rural areas and achieving tangible improvements in the quality of services provided to citizens.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;\u2728 A Living Model of Rural Youth: From Participation to Leadership&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Niveen\u2019s story represents a living model of ambition and youthful determination in rural Jordan, proving that rural youth are capable of playing a pivotal role in driving local change through dialogue and community participation. The Intermediaries for Change Center and Sawt Ajloun Community Radio provided a nurturing environment that helped strengthen the capacities of Niveen and her youth team, enabling them to become leaders in their communities and contribute to achieving social justice and active participation in political life.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Today, we are working diligently to achieve the change we believe in, by promoting participation and opening genuine channels of dialogue with decision-makers in municipal councils.&#8221; \u2013 Niveen Imad Hilal Al-Rabadi<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;\ud83c\udf3f In Conclusion: The Role of Youth in Shaping the Future&#8221;<\/p>\n\n<p>&#8220;Niveen\u2019s story affirms that rural youth are the leaders of tomorrow, capable of achieving justice and social change.
