Titled \u201cChallenges of Growth and Sustainability for Emerging Economic Projects Led by Women in Rural Communities,\u201d the session was held at the Ajloun Municipality Hall (Local Development Unit). The session aimed to discuss ways to support women&#8217;s entrepreneurship and enhance their ability to develop sustainable projects that contribute to improving the economic and social conditions in rural communities.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Executive Director of the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development , Suhaib Ahmad Rababa\u2019a, who presented and moderated the discussion, emphasized the importance of opening in-depth discussions about the reality of women&#8217;s projects, especially in rural areas, which face compounded challenges related to financing, marketing, and the ability to expand, in addition to limited access to resources and technical support. Rababa\u2019a explained that empowering women economically is not merely a development step, but rather an investment in building a more stable and prosperous society, noting the necessity of providing a supportive environment that encourages women to launch and sustain their projects.<\/p>\n\n<p>The session addressed the most significant obstacles facing women entrepreneurs, such as weak marketing networks, high production costs, and a lack of specialized training opportunities, in addition to the challenges associated with competition in local and international markets.
