“From Vision to Implementation” Project: Investing in Youth for a Promising Political Future

Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development is implementing the “From Vision to Implementation: Investing in Youth for a Promising Political Future” project, in line with Jordan’s Political Modernization Vision, in cooperation with Sawt Ajloun Community Radio and with support and funding from the King Abdullah II Fund for Development. The project aims to encourage youth from rural areas in Ajloun and political party representatives to support opportunities for young people to take on leadership roles and participate actively in political and party-related dialogues, contributing to more equitable representation in political life in line with the Political Modernization Vision, the Political Parties Law, and the new Election Law.

Through a multi-stakeholder political dialogue platform, young people will have the opportunity to express their aspirations, demands, and priorities directly to policymakers, political party representatives, and established political figures. This will contribute to building trust and mutual understanding around development priorities from a youth perspective, while recognizing young people as active political leaders.

The project targets young men and women from various rural communities in Ajloun Governorate through an interactive training program that combines capacity building, specialized training, fieldwork, and the development of a youth recommendations paper, culminating in direct political dialogues with decision-makers and stakeholders. This approach aims to strengthen the role of youth in developing policies and programs that respond to the needs of their local communities

The project will also include political dialogues bringing together rural youth with representatives of political parties, the House of Representatives, and local leaders at the local administration and governorate council levels, with the participation of a range of stakeholders. These dialogues will provide an open space for young people to present their economic, political, and social priorities and aspirations, while strengthening direct dialogue between youth, political actors, and decision-makers.
