The Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development participated in the preparation of the Youth Report for the analysis of the Education Budget 2026.
The Arab Network for Civic Education (ANHRE) implemented, on 10–11 April 2026, a workshop titled “Preparing the Education Budget Analysis Report 2026,” as part of the project “Youth Collaborate for Open and Accountable Budgets,” with the participation of a number of young people active in civil society.
The workshop aimed to strengthen participants’ capacities in analyzing education budgets from a rights-based perspective grounded in justice and equity, and to support evidence-based advocacy initiatives. The program included interactive sessions on participatory budget analysis tools and their application to the 2026 education budget, in addition to discussions on challenges and gaps in education financing, as well as planning for upcoming dialogues and activities for the Global Action Week for Education 2026.
The Center was represented by Lana Al-Momani, Assistant for Media, Communication, and Programs, who emphasized the Center’s continued support for development issues, particularly the education sector, and the importance of strengthening youth engagement in participation and decision-making processes.
ANHRE emphasized that this workshop is part of its ongoing efforts to promote transparency and accountability, and to empower youth as active partners in shaping public policies and achieving equitable and inclusive education for all.
