Higher education, vocational training, and research and innovation play a pivotal role in creating a better future for youth in local communities. They enhance young people’s ability to engage in the labor market, contribute to development, and help build more inclusive and cohesive societies. At the Change Mediators Center for Sustainable Development, we place youth at the heart of our efforts, working to provide opportunities for continuous learning and quality training that improve employment prospects.

We believe that inclusive and quality education is the cornerstone for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for all), as well as Goals 6 and 8, which aim to reduce the number of youth not in education, employment, or training (NEET). We also support initiatives and projects that promote innovation and scientific research, encourage social entrepreneurship, foster intercultural dialogue, and empower youth to lead change in their communities.

Priorities

We focus on expanding opportunities for learning, vocational training, and social inclusion for youth, especially in rural areas, through educational initiatives and national projects built on collaboration and partnerships with local institutions working with young people.

We believe that green knowledge and skills are the key to the future, and we work to connect innovation with the labor market, empowering students and researchers to contribute to sustainable development by adopting a positive scientific agenda that helps improve lives.

The Change Mediators Center for Sustainable Development believes in the importance of strengthening regional cooperation and supporting youth and community-led efforts that help remove barriers to intra-regional trade—whether through awareness-raising or by supporting initiatives that promote an open, inclusive, and sustainable economy. By economically empowering youth and women and providing training and entrepreneurship programs focused on the green and digital economy, the center contributes to building a more efficient and equitable trade environment.

The center works to build bridges of trust between the public and private sectors and civil society, based on the belief that any genuine economic integration must be inclusive and fair—benefiting everyone without exclusion—and contributing to a prosperous and secure future.
