A dialogue session to follow up on the implementation of the women’s empowerment strategy within the economic modernization vision in Ajloun Governorate
📍 The EuroMed Feminist Initiative, in cooperation with the Center for Change Agents for Sustainable Development and the Women’s and Youth Empowerment Units in various municipalities across Ajloun Governorate, organized a dialogue session yesterday, Wednesday, July 1, to follow up on the implementation of the Women’s Empowerment Strategy under the Economic Modernization Vision. The session brought together 16 representatives from local development units, Women’s and Youth Empowerment Units in Ajloun’s municipalities, civil society organizations, and relevant government entities working on women’s economic participation. 🤝
The session provided a space for dialogue on key achievements and challenges, emphasizing the importance of developing local strategies that stem from the national strategy while reflecting the unique characteristics and needs of each governorate. It also highlighted the importance of strengthening partnerships, expanding women’s access to employment and financing opportunities, and contributing to more inclusive and sustainable economic participation. 📈💼
📍 EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI), in cooperation with Intermediaries Change Center and Women and Youth Empowerment Units across municipalities in Ajloun Governorate, convened a dialogue session yesterday, Wednesday, 1 July, to follow up on the implementation of the Engendered Strategy of the Economic Modernization Vision (EMV).
The session brought together 16 representatives from Local Development Units, Women and Youth Empowerment Units across Ajloun municipalities, government institutions, civil society organizations, and local associations to discuss progress, identify key challenges, and explore practical recommendations. 🗣️
Participants emphasized the importance of developing governorate-specific strategies aligned with the national framework, strengthening partnerships, improving women’s access to employment and finance, and advancing inclusive and sustainable economic participation. 📈💼🤝
