Sawt Ajloun Community Radio Team Participates in a Meeting on the 2026 Population and Housing Census
Amman – To raise awareness of the 2026 Population and Housing Census, which is scheduled to begin at the start of next month, the Sawt Ajloun Community Radio team participated in a meeting that brought together representatives of several local and community radio stations to discuss the census implementation process, its key messages, and the role of local media in supporting its successful implementation.
The meeting discussed the census implementation process, its key messages and relevant information, as well as addressing the main questions and inquiries related to its stages and procedures, contributing to ensuring that accurate and reliable information reaches citizens.
Participants emphasized the important role played by local and community media in raising public awareness, explaining the objectives of the census and how it will be conducted, and encouraging households and individuals to cooperate with field researchers. This contributes to the success of this national undertaking and to providing data that supports planning and decision-making.
Sawt Ajloun Community Radio’s participation came as part of its commitment to continuing its role in communicating national information and issues to the local community, strengthening communication between institutions and citizens, particularly on issues that require public awareness and direct cooperation from citizens.
