Ajloun – Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development signed a memorandum of understanding with Ajloun National University, in a qualitative step aimed at enhancing the readiness of students and graduates for the labor market and raising their employability, by providing them with functional and entrepreneurial skills, which contributes to expanding self-employment opportunities and supporting economic development paths in Jordan.

This memorandum comes in line with national trends aimed at linking higher education outputs with the needs of students, graduates and the labor market, as it focuses on building their capabilities and providing them with practical and applied skills, in addition to promoting a culture of entrepreneurship and stimulating creative thinking, in line with the requirements of the modern economy and the rapid transformations in the work environment.

The memorandum stipulates the implementation of a comprehensive package of specialized training programs, applied workshops, and career guidance programs targeting students and graduates. The aim is to develop their technical and personal skills and prepare them for effective integration into the labor market, whether through employment or by launching their own projects. The memorandum also aims to establish effective institutional cooperation in the areas of training, capacity building, and community service. This will be achieved by providing high-quality field training opportunities and organizing seminars and workshops that contribute to raising the efficiency of students and academic staff and enhancing their professional readiness. The agreement also includes supporting community service initiatives, promoting innovation and entrepreneurship, and developing applied and dual education programs. This will contribute to producing graduates with highly competitive skills who are able to adapt to the changing demands of the labor market.

In this context, representatives of Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development t expressed their pride in this partnership, stressing that it represents a practical step towards empowering university students, providing them with the skills necessary to keep pace with the demands of the labor market, and transforming their ideas into projects with a sustainable economic and social impact.

For its part, Ajloun National University signed the memorandum of understanding in the presence of the Assistant President for Academic Affairs, Professor Ziad Al-Tahaineh, and the Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology, Dr. Bajis Al-Junaidi, along with representatives from both sides, in confirmation of the university’s commitment to strengthening partnerships with national institutions.

Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development also signed the memorandum in the presence of Operations and Programs Specialist: Professor Reham Al-Qudah and Media and Communications Assistant Lana Al-Momani, in a step that reflects the keenness of both parties to develop joint programs with a sustainable impact.

Both sides affirmed that this partnership represents an effective model of integration between academic institutions and civil society organizations, and contributes to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, through the exchange of experiences and the implementation of joint programs and projects with a tangible and sustainable impact.

This agreement comes as part of the ongoing efforts of Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development and Ajloun National University to expand their strategic partnership network and enhance the quality of their educational outputs, in support of their orientation towards excellence and leadership at the local and national levels.
