📢 Youth dialogue meeting with political parties and youth priorities: From dialogue to policies and development programs
Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development , in partnership with Sawt Ajloun Community Radio and in cooperation with the German Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, is organizing a youth dialogue session as part of the activities of the “Reef Safe Youth Political Space” project, with the participation of representatives from a number of political parties in Ajloun. The session is part of a series of dialogues bringing together youth, political parties, stakeholders, and decision-makers, with the aim of strengthening national dialogue on priority issues for young women and men, particularly in governorates and rural communities.
The meeting aims to strengthen partnerships between youth and political parties and create spaces for constructive dialogue on ways to translate youth priorities and recommendations into actionable programs and policies. It will also address key issues related to the education and employment sectors, contributing to enhanced youth political participation and supporting political modernization and sustainable development in Jordan.
Meeting topics:
The role of political parties in promoting the participation of young men and women in public life, political parties, and decision-making.
Reflecting the priorities of youth in governorates and rural communities in party programs and policies.
Aligning educational outcomes with labor market needs and enhancing employment opportunities.
Developing skills, supporting entrepreneurship, and promoting the economic empowerment of young men and women.
The role of political parties in following up on youth recommendations and transforming them into actionable programs, initiatives, and policies.
Enhancing the participation of women and young women in political and party life, and supporting their access to leadership and decision-making positions.
Strengthening dialogue and cooperation between youth and political parties to support political modernization in Jordan.
