📢 Young leaders within the “Safe Rural Youth Political Space” are preparing a policy paper on work and employment in Ajloun Governorate

As part of efforts to empower youth and enhance their participation in shaping public policies, youth leaders within the activities of the “Safe Rural Youth Political Space” prepared a specialized policy paper on the labor and employment sector in Ajloun Governorate, which aims to provide practical recommendations to enhance job opportunities and raise youth readiness for the labor market.
The paper was prepared through a series of local and national meetings that brought together young people with stakeholders, decision-makers and local communities to discuss the challenges facing young people in accessing suitable job opportunities, and to propose practical and applicable solutions.
The paper included practical recommendations, most notably:
Designing training and qualification programs that lead to employment
Developing vocational and technical education and training to meet labor market needs
Supporting entrepreneurship and small businesses
Expanding partnerships and cooperation with the private sector
Improving youth access to employment opportunities in rural areas
The youth leaders emphasized that the paper aims to empower young people to actively participate in shaping employment policies and to convey their visions and needs to decision-makers, thereby contributing to enhancing job opportunities and sustainable economic development in Ajloun Governorate.
It is worth mentioning that the “Safe Youth Political Rural Space” operates under the umbrella of the Center for Change Agents for Sustainable Development, in partnership with the Ajloun Community Radio, and in cooperation with the German Rosa Luxemburg Foundation, and aims to provide a sustainable youth space to promote the developmental and civic participation of young people in rural areas.
