The poor, the rich, and the trash…
Organized by the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development, a film screening was held as part of the “Rural Cinema Space” activities to discuss issues of poverty, hunger, social inequality, and injustice. The film highlights the gap between social classes and raises profound questions about society’s responsibility toward less privileged groups.
The film explores how waste and surplus for some can become a source of income and a means of livelihood for others, within a humanitarian framework that opens dialogue and reflection on social justice and economic realities.
The screening was held on Monday, 5 May 2026, at 1:00 PM, at the premises of the Intermediaries of Change Center for Sustainable Development, with the attendance of a number of young people and individuals interested in social and development issues.
The Center emphasized that this event comes as part of its efforts to promote community dialogue and create interactive youth spaces that address humanitarian and development issues through meaningful art and cinema.
